1 Timothy 2:1-7

There are three reasons we pray for the salvation of all people:

1. It pleases God
2. Christ is the mediator who provided the ransom for all
3. Refusing God’s offer of salvation to any is counter to Paul’s (and our) God-given ministry

Therefore, we pray.

Because God loves, we pray.

Because God desires all to be saved, we proclaim His offer of salvation to all. We cannot control who will believe. We can control our attitude and actions regarding evangelism.
