is a prime example of living life with a “life from below” frame of mind. How about you?

Indicators you may be living “life from below”

• Your life is governed by fears about things over which you have no control
• Your default view of life is unalterably pessimistic
• You believe others exist to make your life better
• You blame others for your problems rather than taking responsibility for your decisions and actions
• You fail to see the hand of God in the events of life, good or bad
• You only turn to God and do what He desires when you have exhausted every other option
