A new song…

Pastor John and I recently talked about what song would be right for the theme of “contentment.” We are coming to that section of 1 Timothy 6 that deals with that. So, as I considered it, this song came to mind.

It’s a newer song, written in 2014. By now, many are familiar with the name “Getty”. So many songs of the modern hymn movement have had music written by Keith Getty. His wife, Kristyn, also frequently contributes music and lyrics. They often work with other songwriters, most notably Stuart Townend. This song was co-written by another collaborator, Graham Kendrick.
