A new look at a familiar parable

Many who have been in the church and many who have never been in the Christian church recognize the name, “the prodigal son.” The name comes from a subject heading in most bibles for a part of Luke chapter 15. But what does the term “prodigal” really mean? You may be surprised at the answer!
