Persistent prayer:

what does it mean to be persistent in prayer? Certainly at the least it means to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17). But there is also an aspect of persistent prayer that involves coming to God with the same request, over and over. While this might seem impertinent, Jesus himself commended it in the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18. Maintain an attitude of reverent insistence with God, crying out to Him for what you know only He can do.
