Sometimes in life there is the day you plan, but the day you live turns out a little differently.

So it is with the letter of Jude. In verse 3, he says “I was eager to write you about the salvation we share” (CSB), but he continues, “I found it necessary to write, appealing to you to contend for the faith that was delivered to the saints once for all” (CSB). So, Jude had planned to write one letter, but was led by the Spirit of God to write the letter we have today.

As Pastor John Underhill continues in our summer series on the book of Jude, notice the need that Jude addresses in these first verses. You will be encouraged to continue contending for the faith that was delivered to you. The issues that Jude speaks to and warns of are even more relevant today. Pray for the truth to go forth.
