Soon and very soon…

…we will no longer be in our present condition. The day is coming and will soon be here, when we will always be with the Lord. Are you excited about this prospect, dear Christian? We are finite creatures, so it is hard, nearly impossible for us to contemplate the infinite. And yet, that is who we really are in Christ. We are infinite. We are eternal beings in Christ. Thanks to his victory over death, we will never cease to be. Thanks to his atonement for our sin, we will be forever with the Lord.

Oh, Lord, haste the day when our faith shall be sight!
