Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

In the business world, there is something called a “BHAG” – a Big Hairy Audacious Goal. Businesses are encouraged to set BHAGs as motivations for growth. These are usually developed by the business and for the business, for the sake of its growth.

But our God often calls us to our own BHAGs. These are set by Him, given to us, yet they are empowered not by our feeble and weak strength, but by the mighty power of God Himself. He calls us, He sustains us, and ultimately, He gets the glory as we are strengthened in our faith.

God gave Noah a BHAG. We read the full account in Genesis 6-10, but he is singled out in the “hall of faith” in Hebrews 11. Join Pastor John Underhill as he opens God’s Word with an encouraging message on how God still calls us to deeds of faith, and by calling, strengthens our faith.
